This notice explains what information SAYLOR Technology Advisors ("SAYLOR," "we," or "us") collects through saylorit.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. SAYLOR Technology Advisors is the business name of Christopher Saylor, a sole proprietor based in Maryland.
What we collect
When you contact us. Our contact form asks for your name, email address, and a message about how we can help. Your company name and phone number are optional.
When you request our guide. The guide form asks for your first name, last name, and email address.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting and security services process technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and the time of your visit. They do this to deliver the site, prevent spam and abuse, and protect our forms. We do not currently use advertising or behavioral analytics trackers.
We do not ask for sensitive information. Please don't include confidential business details, passwords, or personal health or financial information in a form.
How we use it
We use your information to:
- Respond to your inquiry and schedule an introductory conversation
- Email you the guide you requested
- Keep a record of inquiries and guide requests
- Protect our website and forms from spam, fraud, and misuse
Submitting a form does not subscribe you to marketing emails. We will not add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.
Guide downloads
When you request the guide, we email you a unique download link. The link can be used once and expires 72 hours after it is sent. We keep a copy of the delivery email as a record of your request.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
We use a small number of trusted service providers to operate the website and handle email. They process information only to provide their services to us:
- Website hosting and security, including a form security check that confirms submissions come from people rather than automated programs. These services may set cookies that are strictly necessary for security.
- Email delivery, which sends inquiry notifications and guide emails from our website.
- Business email, where inquiries and guide requests are received and stored.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger or sale.
Links to other sites
Our website links to LinkedIn and other external sites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
How long we keep it
- Business inquiries: 12 months after our last substantive contact with you.
- Guide requests with no further conversation: 90 days after the request.
- Inquiries that become an engagement: moved into our client records and kept under a separate client-record retention policy.
- Download links: expire automatically after 72 hours or one use.
How we protect it
We use reasonable safeguards for a business of our size, including encrypted connections, spam and abuse protection on our forms, and restricted access to our email and website settings. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect the information you share with us.
Your choices
You can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you
- Correct information that is inaccurate
- Delete your information, unless we need to keep it for a legitimate business or legal reason

Children
Our website is intended for business professionals. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
